Health and Productivity Management Promotion Policy
To promote “Health and Productivity Management,” we have established the following three policies:
- We will create an environment where every employee can thrive physically and mentally and achieve self-actualization.
- We will position an organization composed of a diverse workforce as a source of innovation for solving societal challenges。
- We will build a system where the health of employees and their families and the sustainable growth of the company create a virtuous cycle.
Health and Productivity Management Promotion structure
Based on our Health and Productivity Management Declaration and Promotion Policy, we have established a company-wide promotion structure with the President and CEO serving as the Chief Officer for Health and Productivity Management. Led by the “Welfare Promotion Office,” which serves as the secretariat, our occupational health staff, health insurance association, and employee representatives work closely together to vigorously promote the maintenance and improve the physical and mental health of each employee and to create a work-friendly environment.
Health and Productivity Management Strategy Map
To implement our Health and Productivity Management Promotion Policy, we have developed a “Health and Productivity Management Strategy Map” that systematically links initiatives addressing four key areas—“Promotion of Physical Health,” “Improving Mental Health,” “Improving Lifestyle Habits,” and “Strengthening Health literacy”—with the desired outcomes. We visualize and verify the effectiveness of each initiative and the resulting behavioral changes to ensure continuous progress.

Status of Initiatives
Walking Event
Walking Event
To support our employees’ health and help them work in good health with peace of mind, we have introduced a health promotion app focused on walking. By visualizing daily exercise results and health information, we aim to help employees build self-motivated, healthy habits.
As part of this initiative, we hold company-wide “Walking Events” twice a year. During these events, participants track and tally their step counts through the app, creating an environment where they can enjoy exercising while competing and learning from one another in categories such as inter-departmental, club-team, and individual competitions.
In addition to recognizing top-ranked participants with internal awards, we publish articles on the company bulletin board celebrating results and commendable efforts, thereby fostering a sense of excitement throughout the company. Participation has been growing with each event, and we have received a great deal of positive feedback from employees, with many expressing enthusiasm such as, “I am determined to do my best to reach the top tier again next time.”
The 2up3down Movement
Our headoffice is running a “2up 3down” campaign that encourages employees to take the stairs (up two floors, down three floors) instead of the elevator whenever possible. This initiative aims to increase opportunities for health promotion through walking and encourage behavioral change.
Health Screening Events and Digital Health Promotion Initiatives
Health Check Event
Through events that employees can participate in casually and enjoy, our company is promoting initiatives to “visualize” own health status and encourage behavioral change.
At health check events held at our headquarters and branch offices, we provided opportunities for employees to gain a multifaceted understanding of their physical condition through measurements such as estimated vegetable intake, vascular age, body composition, skin condition, and postural balance. We also distributed informational materials to help them improve their daily dietary habits.
In fiscal year 2025, we held a “Good Life Health Check” event at our head office, providing an opportunity for participants to comprehensively assess not only body composition, visceral fat, blood pressure, saliva tests, and estimated vegetable intake, but also physical abilities such as bone density, grip strength, the sit-to-stand test, and the two-step test. We provided measurement result sheets and educational videos on the spot, which were well-received by many participants.
In addition to in-person events, we utilize a health management system to provide personalized health reports based on analyses of medical checkup results and survey data. These reports include a score reflecting each individual’s health status and a specific action plan for improvement based on those results. By enabling employees to understand their health status through objective metrics and future projections, we encourage them to make positive changes to their lifestyle habits.
Through these initiatives, we foster a data-driven shift in mindset and promote company-wide health promotion activities, including the prevention of lifestyle-related diseases and nutritional management.
Measures to Prevent Infectious Diseases
To protect the health of our employees and their families and to provide an environment where they can work with peace of mind, we offer annual flu vaccinations to all employees.
We schedule workplace vaccinations on multiple dates to ensure that even busy employees can get vaccinated during breaks in their workday. At our Branch Offices, we arrange for vaccinations at designated medical facilities and strive for 100% participation.
Furthermore, even when employees choose to get vaccinated at a medical facility of their chice, we aim to maintain a high vaccination rate by reducing the financial burden, including costs for family members, through a combination of company subsidies and grants provided by the health insurance association.
By encouraging early prevention ahead of the peak season for infectious diseases, we strive to maintain the health of the entire organization and reduce the risk of absenteeism due to illness.
Support for Employees' “Smoking Cessation”
As part of our efforts to promote employee health, we are implementing smoking cessation initiatives that address both “mindset change” and “behavioral change.”
First, we foster accurate knowledge and awareness of the risks of smoking through seminars led by medical specialists. To encourage employees to take action, we fully subsidize the cost of treatment at smoking cessation clinics.
We have not only removed the financial barrier to seeking treatment but also selected clinics near the company so that employees can visit them easily. As a result, employees can pursue treatment with peace of mind, and we are seeing steady results.
